Z For Zombie Cocktail

Hello friends,

Today as we conclude our challenge would like to share one cocktail recipe for all cocktail lovers!!!

Last but not the least  Z For Zombie Cocktail..

This drink basically includes 4 types of juices and 3 types of rum.

Lets see the recipe.

Ingredients:                                                                    

1) Fresh orange juice 2 oz
2) Fresh pineapple juice 2 oz
3) Fresh apricot juice 2 oz
4) Fresh lime juice 1 oz
5) Light rum 2 0z
6) Dark rum 1 oz
7) Bacardi 151 rum 1/2 oz
8) Sugar 1 tsp

Procedure:

1) Mix all the ingredients except bacardi 151 in a tall cocktail zombie glass.
2) Add ice and shake well.
3) Top with bacardi 151
4) Decorate with lime or orange slice and sprig of mint.

Y For Yoghurt...

Hello all,

And now today my recipe is one which is so tempting and totally refreshing!!

My all time favorite..

Yogurts i love you all a lot!!

Nowadays we get many readymade yogurts but still i prefer the homemades..

Simple and short recipe..lets go for it!!

Ingredients:                                                                        

1) Milk
2) Plain yogurt
3) Milk powder
4) Any seasonal fruit pulp ( i choose mangoes)
5) Powdered sugar.

Procedure:

1) Take milk in a deep pan.
2) Heat till lukewarm.
3) Add milk powder and stir properly.
4) Add pain yogurt and let it set for some hours.
5) Take this yogurt in a soft cloth and hang for 1 hour till         maximum water is strained.
6) Now add powdered sugar and fruit pulp and mix slowly.
7) Set in bowls and serve chilled.

X For Xotic Fizz...

Hello guys,

An today one of mine all time favorite drink Xotic Fizz..

Hope you all will enjoy it as I do!!

I tried it by my own on one of my party and I was really shocked to see that it was a great hit!!!

So sharing it with you all...

Ingredients:                                                                              

1) Fresh orange juice
2) Fresh cranberry juice
3) Fresh pomegranate juice
4) Fresh lemon juice
5) Carbonated water
6) Cherries for decoration

Procedure:

1) Pour these juices separately in ice tray.
2) Make the juice cubes of each juice separately.
3) In a glass take one cube of each juice and add carbonated water.
4) Xotic fizz is ready. Decorate glass with cherries.

W For Watermelon Punch..

Hello all,

And now we are almost heading to the and of the April
challenge...

To hot summer and need something very easy to set and refresh..

Here is the easiest of all recipes..                                                          

W For Watermelon Punch...

Ingredients:     

1) Watermelon deseeded and cubed.
2) Lemon juice
3) Sugar
4) Ice cubes

Procedure:

1) Take watermelon cubes, lemon juice and sugar in a blender.
2) Blend till smooth.
3) Serve over crushed ice.
4) Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Note: You can always use Glucon-D ( original flavor) instead of sugar.

V for Vanilla Moccha Frappuccino...

Hello All,

Today I have a complete refreshing combination for you all.

I have selected Vanilla Moccha Frappuccino

I tasted it first time in the Starbucks cafe and tried it at home with some alterations.

And enjoyed it like anything!!

This ones for you all folks...Enjoyyy!!

Ingredients:                                                        

1) Milk
2) Condensed Milk
3) Vanilla ice cream
4) Instant coffee powder
5) Choco chips

Procedure:

1) In a blender add milk, condensed milk, vanilla ice cream.
2) Add coffee powder and blend till smooth texture appears.
3) Float with vanilla ice cream.
4) Decorate with choco chips.
5) Serve chilled.

U for Ugli fruit Mock Tail

Hello guys,

For our today's letter I have selected a very uncommon but a totally delicious drink.

U For Ugli Fruit Mocktail..

Even if the name says Ugli but the fruit is so juicy,sweet and tempting.

It is basically from the family of Oranges, tangelos and grapefruit.

We may not get it everywhere but we can always substitute it by an orange or grapefruit.

And the recipe is as follows:

Ingredients:                                                               

1) Fresh Ugli Juice.
2) Fresh Pineapple Juice
3) Fresh mint leaves.
4) Fresh Basil leaves.
5) Sugar
6) Water or Soda Water.
7) Ice cubes

Procedure:

1) Mix Ugli and pineapple juice in a blender.
2) Add sugar and blend properly.
3) In a tall glass add crushed ice, pour mixed
    juice.
4) Add basil and mint leaves.
5) Top with soda water.
6) Enjoy it chilled.

T For Tomato lemonade...

Hello friends,

T is our todays letter and I have selected Tomato lemonade..

Most of us must be aware that, yes tomato is a fruit.

And we can use its juice for making many refreshing drinks and mock tails.

Cherry tomatoes are sweet in taste.

Lets see the recipe..

Ingredients:                                                                                    


1) Fresh Tomatoes.
2) Cherry tomatoes
3) Fresh lemon juice
4) Sugar
5) Water
6) Ice cubes

Procedure:

1) Take tomatoes and cherry tomatoes in a grinder and grind finely.
2) Add some water to make juice and pour it through a sieve.
3) Add fresh lemon juice and sugar, stir till sugar dissolves.
4) Pour the juice in a serving glass and top with ice.
5) Serve chilled.

S for Strawberry Smoothie...

Hi friends,

For today's letter S i have chosen simple yet yummy smoothie.

Will be loved by everyone of us.

And most of us would have been tasted even!!!

Ingredients:                                                
                      

1) Fresh Strawberries.
2) Milk
3) Sugar
4) Strawberry flavored ice cream
5) Milk cream

Procedure:

1) Take some strawberries in a blender, add sugar and milk.
2) Blend nicely.
3) Pour the mixture in a serving glass.
4) Add a scoop of ice cream, some pieces of strawberries.
5) Top it with milk cream.
6) Serve chilled.

 

R for Raw mango(Kairi) drink..

Hello all,

Everybody must have started enjoying mangoes.

But today I have a special , total refreshing and healthiest drink ever.

This drink is called as "pannah" in Marathi.

It is made up of fresh raw mangoes( Kairi)

Lets quickly see the ingredients:                             
         

1) Raw mango pulp 1 bowl
2) Sugar 2 bowl
3) Water
4) Salt
5) Cumin (jeera powder)

Procedure

1) Boil the raw mangoes and takeout the pulp.
2) Take this pulp in a grinder add sugar and blend finely.
3) And now you can store this squash in refrigerator.
4) While serving take some amount of squash in a glass.
5) Add water, salt and pinch of jeera powder and stir properly.
6) Add ice cubed and serve chilled.
 

Q for Queens Paradise...

Hello all,

Today I am going to share a rich recipe which is so chilling with its properties.

Todays letter is Q in which I am sharing "Queens paradise" a recipe made up using roses.

Rose itself has the quality of killing heat. And when combined with fruits and milk it gives an
awesome flavor. Now lets quickly see the recipe.

Ingredients:                                             

To make rose syrup:

1) Fresh red rose petals 1 bowl
2) Sugar 2 bowls
3) Water 1 bowl
4) Green cardamoms 2-3

Take a deep pan mix sugar and water and let it boil.
Add rose petals and simmer a little.
Add cardamoms.
Keep the mixture overnight.
Then blend it to form a nice smooth syrup.

1) Vanilla custard powder
2) Milk
3) Fresh seasonal fruits( mango, strawberry, banana, apples etc.)
4) Milk cream
5) Dry fruits( raisins, almonds, pistachios, cashew nuts etc.)
6) Rose syrup
7) Vanilla ice cream.

Procedure:

1) Make a nice vanilla custard and let it cool a little.
2) Add rose syrup and mix well.
3) In a serving bowl add fresh fruits pieces.
4) Pour the custard over it.
5) Add dry fruits and milk cream.
6) Top it with a scoopful of vanilla ice cream.
7) Decorate with rose syrup on top.
8) Serve chilled.

P for Pineapple Shake..

Hello all,

Today's letter is P for which I have chosen

"P For Pineapple Shake"

Ingredients:                                                                                          

1) Fresh pineapple
2) Milk
3) Sugar
4) Vanilla Ice cream
5) Fresh fruits for garnishing ( strawberry, cherries and grapes)

Procedure:

1) Cut pineapple into small pieces and pressure cook it with 3
     whistles.
2) Keep some pieces aside and take remaining pineapple in a
     blender.
3) Add sugar, milk and 2 scoop ice cream, blend to form
     a smoothie.
4) Take a glass add smoothie, then 1 scoop ice cream and garnish with fresh fruits.
5) Serve chilled.

O for Orange Pineapple Slush..

Hello all,

Today I have selected "Orange-Pineapple Slush" to chill ourselves.

Lets quickly move to the recipe.

Ingredients:                                                                         
                                           

1) Freshly squeezed orange juice.-1 cup
2) Freshly squeezed lemon juice-1/4 cup
3) Fresh pineapple juice-1/2 cup
4) Ice cubes 3 cups
5) Sugar 1and half cup

Procedure:

1) Mix all the above ingredients in a blender.
2) Blend till it forms a nice frothy and smooth.
3) Serve chilled.

Note:

You can also set it in a paper cup to make popsicles..

N for Nariyal (Coconut) Punch...

Hello Friends,

Today's letter is N and I have chosen" Nariyal ( coconut) Punch"

This is a typical Konkani recipe. Commonly known as" Sol kadhi "

Such an awesome drink for summer to chill ourselves.

We can make it and store for 4-5 days in refrigerator.

We use kokum syrup in this which is readily available in stores.

There is a difference in kokum syrup and kokum sherbet.

1) Kokum sherbet is kokum extract with sugar in it.

2) Kokum syrup is just pure extract of kokum.
                                                                                
Nariyal (coconut) punch
Ingredients:                                                                

1) Nariyal (Coconut)
2) Kokum syrup
3) Ginger
4) Coriander leaves.
5) Green chilies.
6) Water.
7) Salt and Sugar.
8) Rock salt.

Procedure:

1)Take coconut pieces,ginger,coriander leaves and green
    chilies in grinder and add some water and grind fine.
2) Strain the mixture through a sieve.
3) Add kokum syrup, salt and sugar.
4) Add rock salt and mix properly.
5) Serve chilled.

M for Mango Mastani...

Hello all,

And finally the king of all fruits have arrived!!!

"M For Mango Mastani.."

Mango is one such fruit for which everyone of us is crazy...

The aroma of mango itself is so refreshing,fortifying,energizing,rejuvenating,invigorating,revitalizing and etc etc
And cant explain anymore!!!

Die-hard fan of mangoes!!!

Lets quickly move to this yummmm recipe.

Ingredients:                                                                    

1) Fresh Alphonso mangoes
2) Sugar
3) Milk
4) Milk cream
5) Mango flavored ice cream.
6) Assorted dry fruits.
7) Tutti frutti

Procedure:

1) Chop one mango to small pieces and keep aside.
2) In a blender take some mango pulp,sugar and milk.
3) Blend till a smoothie is formed.
4) In a glass, add chopped mango pieces and pour smoothie.
5) Add a scoopful of ice cream.
6) Top it with dry fruits and tutti frutti.
7) Serve chilled.

and I am literally (Super) Late today to post on my blog.

Anyways, today after a short Sunday break I have selected a super refreshing drink,

"L For Litchi Surprise"

Lets go through the recipe

Ingredients:                                                                                           

1) Fresh litchi juice.
2) Fresh orange juice.
3) Fresh lemon juice.
4) Honey.
5) Mint leaves.
6) Pinch of salt.
7) Ice cubes

Procedure:

1) Take fresh litchi peel,deseed and make fresh juice.
2) Similarly with oranges and lemon.
3) Half fill a glass with litchi juice, add orange juice, lemon juice.
4) Add spoonful of honey,pinch of salt, mint leaves and ice cubes.
5) Serve chilled litchi surprise.

K for Kokum( garcinia) Sherbat..

Hello friends,

Here I am with an absolute summer cooler which is quite known to every one.

"K For Kokum Sherbet"

Kokum has many healthy properties like it good for digestion and best to consume during summer.

Nowadays we get kokum squash readily available at many stores.

but will still prefer to buy it from konkan area or from goa.

Lets quickly see the easiest drink ever...

Ingredients:

1) Kokum squash                                             
2) Chilled water.
3) Salt or rock salt.
4) Chat masala.
5) Ice cubes.

Procedure:

1) In a tall glass add the kokum syrup which itself has sugar mixed in it.
2) Add water and salt.
3) Stir nicely and sprinkle some chat masala.
4) Add ice cubes and serve chilled.

J for Jelly Custard...

Hello  all,

I think today's recipe will be loved by all ages.

As soon as we hear the word Jelly it creates such a tempting image in front of our eyes.

Yummy cant wait enough..

lets move on to the recipe..

"J for Jelly Custard" 

Ingredients:                                                                           

1) Custard powder( vanilla flavor)
2) Milk
3) Sugar
4) Strawberry jelly packet
5) Fresh cream
5) Fresh fruits ( apple,strawberry,cherries,banana)

Procedure:

1) Mix custard powder in little milk.
2) In a pan add milk, boil it and add custard mixture
     slowly to it.
3) Add sugar and stir continuously to form a nice smooth custard.Set aside.
4) Prepare the jelly as per the instruction on the packet.
5) Pour the jelly in equal portions in glasses.
6) While serving in a glass of jelly, pour some custard and set in refrigerator.
7) Add fresh fruits and top with some milk cream.
8) Serve chilled.

I for Iced tea..

Hello guys,

Today a very simple, refreshing and evergreen recipe for you all.

I think everybody must have tasted it at least once.

Very simple and nowadays available instantly and in a ready to serve form.

"I for Iced Tea"

 
Ingredients:                                                                             
 
1) Water
2) Tea bags
3) Lemon or orange juice.
4) Sugar or honey.
5) Ice cubes
 
Procedure:
 
1) Boil water, add tea bags and sugar.
2) Let it steep for 15-20 minutes.
3) Remove tea bags and refrigerate the tea water. 
4) In a glass add lemon or orange juice and chilled tea.
5) Add ice cubes and serve chilled.

H for Honey Lemon Quencher..

Hello friends,

Have anybody tried using honey instead of sugar?? In any recipe were we don't heat the preparation we can use honey. According to Ayurveda honey should be consumed without increasing its temperature. So here's one nice quencher for you all in this sultry weather.

H for Honey Lemon Quencher..

Ingredients :                                                           

1) Honey 4-5 table spoons
2) Lemon Juice 1/2 cup
3) Ice crushed
4) Soda water or normal chilled water.

Procedure:

1) In a tall rock glass add lemon juice, honey and crushed ice.
2) Add water and shake well.
3) If you are using soda water no need to shake.
4) Serve chilled.

Hello friends,

Just wanted to suggest one thing today that whenever we opt for any juice,mocktail or smoothies we should always prefer fresh fruits as possible instead of canned fruits or artificial flavors. This will always be healthy and will surely enhance the taste of you preparation.

Now lets move on for the drink of the day.

Today's letter is G for which I have selected a mocktail named

  "Grapes and Orange Mocktail"

 

Ingredients:

 
 
1) Black grapes 1/2 kg
2) Oranges 2-3
3) Sugar if 2-3 teaspoons.
4) Crushed Ice.
5) Lemon juice 1 tea spoon.
6) Soda water 1 bottle
 

Procedure:

 
 
1) Take Black grapes in a blender.
2) Add  Sugar, peeled oranges (remove seeds) to the blender.
3) Blend nicely and strain it.
4) Add crushed ice in glass then add lemon juice.
5) Add grape, orange juice half of the glass.
6) Add soda water and serve chilled.

F for Figs (Anjeer) and banana Smoothie..

 

Ingredients:                                                      

1) Fresh Figs 5-6
2) Bananas 2-3
3) Milk 1/2 liter
4) Milkmaid 3-4 table spoons
5) Milk Cream.

Procedure:

 
 
1) Take peeled and chopped bananas in blender.
2) Add chopped figs, milk and milkmaid.
3) Blend properly to form a nice smoothie.
4) Top up with some milk cream.
5) Serve chilled.

E for Elaichi and Almonds milkshake..

Hello All,

And now for the last post of this week we have the letter E.
For E I have chosen the ever refreshing

" Elaichi and Almonds milkshake"

Lets quickly catch up the ingredients.

Ingredients:                                                                


1) Soaked Almonds 10-15
2) Elaichi 4-5
3) Sugar or Honey as per taste.
4) Chilled milk 1/2 liter.

Procedure:


1) Soak the almonds in water overnight.
2) Peel them and grind to smooth paste.
3) Then add sugar or honey,elaichi and milk.
4) Blend nicely to form a nice smoothie.
5) Serve chilled.

Note:

1) Even if not mentioned in the recipe ice cream lovers can definitely add it to the
     milkshake.
2) You can also top it with dry fruits or any seasonal fresh fruits.
3) To make a thick shake we can increase the amount of almonds.
 

D for Double C's ( choco coffee frappe)

Hello folks,
 
 Temperature in Mumbai is increasing like anything. Really need a glass which will give that soothing effect. So my glass for today should be :
 
 " D for Double C's ( Choco coffee Frappe) "
 
 Straightaway lets see the ingredients.
 

Ingredients:                                                                        

1) Choco Syrup 200 ml                  
2) Instant Coffee Powder 2-3 tea spoons
3) Powdered Sugar 3-4 tea spoons
4) Chilled  Milk 1/2 liter
5) Chocolate Ice cream 3-4 Scoops
6) Choco Chips for garnishing.                                     
 

Procedure:

 
1) Take Coffee powder in a glass, add powdered sugar in it.
2) Add little milk in it and whisk till a nice frothy and lighter foam floats up.
3) In a blender add Choco syrup, powdered sugar milk and 2 scoops of chocolate
     ice cream.
4) Blend nicely and then add it to the coffee mixture.
5) Top up with some Choco chips and serve chilled.

C for Custard apple ( sitafal ) smoothie...

Hello All,

Today's challenge goes with the letter C...

" Custard Apple Smoothie"


Ingredients:

1) Custard Apple pulp: 1/2 kg
2) Milk - 1/2 litre
3) Milk Cream- 2-3 tbl spoons
4) Vanilla Ice-cream - 3-4 Scoops
5) Mix dry fruits (Cashewnuts,kishmish,almonds, walnut) as many
    you want.
6) Ice cubes.

Procedure:

1) Take custard apple pulp ( fresh or tinned ) in a blender.
2) Add half of the total milk and blend properly.
3) Then add remaining milk, milk cream 2-3 Scoop vanilla ice-
    cream ,and ice cubes.
4) Blend nicely till a creamy frothy smoothie is formed.
5) While serving add the smoothie in glass,on top of it add 1
     scoop ice cream.
6) Garnish with dry fruits.
7) Serve chilled.

B for buttermilk..buttermilk and mint shot

On today's summery day lets chill ourselves with a nice rejuvenating
"Buttermilk and mint shot"

Ingredients:
1) Fresh buttermilk-1 litre
2) Fresh mint leaves- 10-12 leaves
3) Ginger-about 1 inch
4) Cumin (jeera) powder -2 tea spoon
5) Salt- as per taste
6) Sugar- as per taste
7) Rock salt- as per taste
8) water.

Procedure:
1) Take the mint leaves,ginger and jeera powder in a grinder and grind finely.
2) Add buttermilk.salt,sugar and rock salt.
3) Blend nicely till a foam appears on top.
4) Place it in a refrigerator and serve chilled.

A for Amla ginger cooler..(indian gooseberry and ginger cooler)

Finally my first post for this challenge!!

Amla-ginger cooler (Indian gooseberry and ginger cooler)

 

Ingredients:

1) Amla (gooseberry) -1 Kg
2) Ginger-125 gms
3) Sugar- 1/2 kg
4) Salt- As per taste
5) Rock salt-As per taste
 

Procedure:

1) Wash the amla and ginger thoroughly with water.
2) Clean amla and ginger with soft cloth and cut into pieces.
3) Remove the seeds from amla.
4) Take the pieces of amla and ginger in grinder.
5) Add sugar, salt and 1/2 to 1 cup water and grind it finely.
6) Now strain this mixture through a soft cloth or a fine sieve.
7) Fill this mixture in a bottle and store in refrigerator.
8) While preparing the drink add some mixture in a glass and add cold water or soda.
9) Add some rock salt and chilled amla ginger cooler is ready.
 
Note: If we add Soda to this mixture a nice refreshing amla ginger soda is ready to serve.
